I Drive a 55

Born in Maine and raised in Colorado Springs – Jeff Thisted is a self-admitted “Car-Guy who has always wanted to be “America’s favorite television game-show host.”
Upon graduating from Colorado State University with a Radio and Television-emphasized Communications degree, he moved out to Los Angeles to pursue his dream.
For seven years Jeff worked as the production coordinator on “The Price is Right,” the longest running game-show in television history.
He was delighted to be able to tell Bob Barker about landing his own hosting gig.
Barker happily gave his blessing and good wishes for a long and successful hosting career.

Jeff is known as the only male host of GSN’s Playmania Block of programming which was broadcast live.
He hosted game-shows “Quiznation” and “100 Winners,” giving away thousands of dollars in the process.

Jeff’s reviewed cars for AutoTrader.com at SEMA, The LA Auto Show, Chicago Auto Show, New York Auto Show and for Wheels-TV driving the likes of Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and more.

You’ve also seen him on The History Channel’s “The History of Hot Rods and Muscle Cars” where he desperately needed a haircut.

He’s been lucky enough to showcase his passion for cars on “Rods ‘n Wheels,” the hit show on Discovery channel & Velocity.

You can see him in person on the Hot Rod Power Tour, the Car Craft Summer Nationals, the F-Body Nationals, the C-10 Nationals, the Bowtie Nationals, Summit Racing Autocross Week and the Goodguys Rod & Custom Autocross & awards ceremonies across the country.
